If you live in a really cold place, Smartwool tights are a great investment – wool tights are really warm, and you can wear them under dresses and even under you jeans if it’s a ridiculously cold day.
Also, old fashioned slips (like your grandma used to wear) are great in the winter under dresses for two reasons: they add another layer for warmth, and they also help with skirts that get static cling and stick to your legs.
But you can’t wear that in Norway when it’s winter.. it’s like -30/-40 :L

people dont understand that layers are better than bulk… pants arent that thick. wearing stocking, tights and leggings together are equal to long johns and jeans,,, they cling and trap body heat,,. idk its been my experience that they both keep you warm enough but if its below 0 keep ya ass inside lmao
